RSS (Really Simple Syndication) allows users to view updated news stories from their favorite websites, without going to each website everyday. RSS is much like a newswire that brings you only the content you choose. By subscribing to the Woodstock RSS feed, you will receive periodic updates on news and events at the Woodstock Theological Center. There are several ways to receive the Woodstock feed:
- In your browser. If you are using Mozilla Firefox (Live Bookmarks) 7 or Microsoft Internet Explorer as your web browser, you can view updated information right from the toolbar without being on the Woodstock website. Click here to subscribe and select "Live Bookmarks".
- In Outlook. If you use Microsoft Outlook to read your e-mail, you can also use the built-in aggregator to view the Woodstock news feed. Click here to subscribe and select "Microsoft Outlook".
- A web-based reader. If you prefer, you can create a free account at several different news readers that will automatically pull the Woodstock RSS feed and notify you when something has been updated. Some of these services include Bloglines, Google Reader, Yahoo!, and many more. If you already have one of these accounts, simply search for "Woodstock Theological Center" and subscribe to our feed from within your account. You may also be able to directly enter the address of our feed (http://woodstock.georgetown.edu/feed.xml). Some of these options are available by clicking here to subscribe.
